Rules and Information for the FHJ's Message Boards

Welcome to the Fishing and Hunting Journal's Message Boards. Listed below is an outline of rules that must be followed on this site. The administrator reserves the right to deny anyone access to the boards for any reason as well as terminate a member's priviledges.

The Fishing and Hunting Journal's Message boards were created to encourage involvement in the fishing and hunting community and create a place where fishermen, hunters and outdoorsmen could congregate and share information and stories.

Please remember:
* We try to monitor the content of the posted messages on this site, however, because of the nature of public forums such as this, it is not possible for us to screen everything before it is posted.

* We do not gaurantee accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message,

* The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of the Fishing and Hunting Journal, or any entity, commercial or otherwise, associated with this message board.

Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact the administrator.


Rules:

Posts will not contain any of the following
* Inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, knowingly false and/or defamatory, hateful, harassing, threatening, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law.

* Copyrighted material unless the copyrighted material is owned by the author.


* Commercial information such as is listed below, unless pre-authorized by the administrator

* Advertisements for any non-paying company of any size, business links, email addresses, product names, or company names in signature lines, links to your personal or business, E-Bay or other online auction sites,

The Fishing and Hunting Journal Reserves the right to remove any message for any reason.

The Fishing and Hunting Journal is not responsible for any posts made on this site. The author of the post assumes sole responsibility for the content of their messages and agrees to indemnify and hold the Fishing and Hunting Journal harmless with respect to any claim based upon the authors message on the FHJ Boards website and in any Private Messages (PMs).

We reserve the right to reveal your identity, email address, and IP address (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message, in any form, posted by you in any form.
